OUR HOUSE.

"Our House" is not only a concept for an aspiring theatre company, but a brand identity based on what theatre means to me. I wanted to create a theatre company where different theatre styles would be performed, explored and embraced. I wanted to express this versatility of the company through a dynamic theatre identity that would portray each genre with its corresponding, unique "staple", incorporated throughout the brand's visuals.

Below is the collected data from the case study identifying the needs and demands of theatre goers in Prague, in the regards to improve the international theatre scene in Prague for both foreigners and locals.

Below you can see how the dynamic logo element would be used in the imagery and how it would become part of the artwork.

The inspiration for the illustrative style poster was adopted from Saul Bass’ work and the general movie poster artworks from the 60-70s. It’s important to stand out in the market, and Theatre companies in Prague stereotypically use photographic posters that showcase just headshots of actors without any creative input. I would like to bring back the concept of playing with imagery and art to deliver the messages of each theatre show.
